Taking into account the standings and current form, I am going to predict the Orioles All-Stars. It should be noted that pitchers are not voted on, rather they are selected.
No-Doubters
Adley Rutschman
As previously mentioned, Adley Rutschman is currently in the lead for catchers in the American League. He is up by over 150,000 votes and I do not see him being overtaken.
Felix Bautista
The mountain is probably the most dominant reliever in the game at this very moment. He is averaging over two strikeouts an inning and his pitching is just masterful. He will certainly be playing in Seattle next month.
Should Be In
Yennier Cano
For a little over a month, he was no doubt the best reliever in baseball. He has looked a bit more human as of late, but he is still pitching very well and currently has the lowest ERA in baseball. I think he will probably make it, but I could see him being snubbed since he isn't exactly the biggest name around. He could also be a casualty of each team needing an all-star, which is often given to bad teams' best relievers.
Definitely Possible
Tyler Wells
Wells has been the best starter in Baltimore this season. He has the lowest WHIP in baseball and has a respectable ERA. However, I could see him not making it due to the fact that there are so many big-name pitchers in the American League.
Should make it, but have too much in front of them
Austin Hays and Cedric Mullins
I put these two together for the same reason, the AL has two outfielders (Judge and Trout) who will always make it regardless of how well they are doing. Aaron Judge has been injured for a few weeks now, but he is still leading in votes. Trout makes it every year because he is one of the biggest names and is always good. So this leaves one spot that is currently occupied by Yordan Alvarez, who is also hurt. I believe Hays has a better shot because he is not hurt, but neither is receiving many votes and they won't be selected despite the tremendous seasons they are having.
Danny Coulombe
He has had a tremendous season as a reliever. However I think there are too many other good relievers, plus I think it is unlikely that three pitchers from the same bullpen would all make the All-Star team no matter how good they were.
Overall I think the Orioles will have three All-Stars; Rutschman, Bautista, and Cano. While it feels like the team should get more given their success, it is a far cry from the last half-decade when we were barely scraping to get one into the game (except Cedric in 2021 ofc).
